FeedReader is a new component used to display content from a feed. Usage is simple as; [crayon-58d9e221b54bd333328215/] Note that feedReader has a dependency to Rome. There are also plans to do feedPublisher component but that's for future. Check out PrimeFaces Labs to see FeedReader in action....

AccordionPanel has been rewritten from scratch for M3, previous accordion was based on the jQuery UI widget and new one is a native PrimeFaces widget. PrimeFaces 2.x had flash based charts which were replaced by the html5 based charts in 3.0.M2. Lately we've spent more time on charts to add more features. PrimeFaces now has an official wiki powered by Confluence. The wiki is planned to be a community driven documentation platform, we on the other hand as PrimeFaces Team will focus on the official user's guide. Still we'll be adding content to the wiki but the mainly it's up to community to maintain. As promised at the beginning of the week, contextMenu now has special integration with the tree component so you can display options on right click event. Also TreeNode API has enhanced with isSelectable() method so which nodes can be selected or right-clicked can easily be defined. See PrimeFaces Labs to see Tree with ContextMenu in action!...

M3 gets a brand new TreeTable. Our old TreeTable couldn't offer much anything other than client side toggling because it was based on a jquery plugin which limits us to do what we actually want. ContextMenu has existed around in PrimeFaces for a while but it lacked tight integration with DataTable. For M3, we've implemented the integration and now it is possible to use a contextmenu with datatable. Usage is same as a regular contextMenu by setting for option of contextmenu as the id of the datatable. Check out PrimeFaces Labs to see it in action!
